Taneeza does not charge an initial consultation fee for those who believe they have an immigration issue.

  • How will I be charged?

If after the initial consultation Taneeza and you decide to enter into an attorney-client relationship, you will pay for the services Taneeza will provide you. Each case is unique and the time spent on each case is different. Taneeza will discuss how she will charge you for these services.

  • Who can be a client?

Anyone who believes to have an immigration law related issue can call for a free consultation.* Your immigration status does not matter.

  • What should I bring to my initial consultation?

All information related to your issue should be brought with you. If you have documents and records, please bring those as well. If you do not have documents or records, do not worry about it. No matter how far back in time your information relates back to, the key to a successful consultation, understanding of your issues and formulating a strategy to move forward will be based on open and honest communication.

  • How long will my case take?

No one can predict how long a case will take. Immigration law is complex and various government agencies are involved. Even though your case may be similar to someone else you know, it make take a different amount of time to be resolved. Taneeza will remain in close communication with you on addressing the processing of your case
